effect:

Deoxyandrographolide is one of the active ingredients of the commonly used traditional Chinese medicine Andrographis paniculata. It is a diterpene lactone compound isolated from Andrographis paniculata. Modern pharmacological research shows that deoxyandrographolide has antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-leptotoxic properties. Treponematosis, antibacterial, anticancer, hepatoprotective and antihypertensive activities.

application:

Deoxyandrographolide has antibacterial and leptospiral effects. Clinical trials have shown certain efficacy in treating leptospirosis, acute bacillary dysentery, upper respiratory tract infections, influenza and unexplained fever. It has low toxicity and no obvious side effects. It can reduce the exudation of Evans blue from the capillary wall caused by xylene or H+ stimulation, inhibit inflammatory exudation in rats caused by croton oil, significantly inhibit egg white foot swelling in rats, and has an effect on adrenocortical function. Different levels of stimulant effects.

Biological activity:

Deoxyandrographolide, isolated from Andrographis paniculata, can inhibit the LPS-induced increase in iNOS mRNA levels and the production of pro-inflammatory mediators TNF-α and IL-6. Deoxyandrographolide enhances NGF-induced neurite outgrowth.
